This painting features layers of translucent encaustic paint with an archival ink jet image printed on rice paper, embedded in the wax, and silk screen elements adding details of the bedrock along the shores of Lake Michigan. It was painted in the early days of the Covid19 pandemic in 2020, reflecting the turmoil of that time.
