1 Cancer Patient, a hybrid exhibition, will be showing at DANK Haus, 4740 N. Western Ave., Chicago, IL 60625 from Friday, April 30 through Friday, June 25, 2021, as well as, an online presence by Virtual Curtain from Sunday, May 2 through Friday, June 25, 2021.

This exhibit was created by cancer thriver Traci Asher, Chicago photographer Warren Perlstein and curator Rosa Gallagher.  The intent of the show is to ease fears of the unknown often felt by women diagnosed with cancer.  Even though we might share a similar journey, we all walk through it

differently.  Five artists will use their unique skills to prove the theory that this disease can be fought with humor, beauty, and strength.  The works selected represent a wide variety of media –

photography, painting, ceramic, and encaustic.Exhibiting artists are: Jane Michalski, Kaitlyn Keely, Nancy Pirri, Sara Peak Convery, and Warren Perlstein with Traci Asher
